"These pieces for string orchestra are perfect for my string groups who are between 7 and 15 members. Their level is prep grade one and grade two. The pieces could not be better. They are demanding enough for my first violins and easy enough for my beginners. All the pieces are interesting for everyone to play and in fact all my students are now learning the higher level they have been so inspired. So, the first violins are now playing violin 2 in second and third position.

With some of my groups I have a Piano student grade 2/3 the piano part here is ideal as it is very interesting and is independant of the string parts. So we can play with or without. This summer all my groups met together and played the pieces tutti it was a great success. The pieces also work out perfectly for a string quarete I cannot praise Katherine and Hugh Colledge enough. Please please please can we have a Christmas set or two!"
