It is hoped that the Workbook will serve as a helpful supplement both for those students who need to acquire an actual working command of "Baroque-style" counterpoint as part of their background & for those whose study of the subject is intended to bring about a deeper understanding of the great music that makes up the 18th century contrapuntal tradition.
